An introduction to documentary film making - Royal Film comission Jordan

I have participated in February 2010 at the ‘Introduction to Documentary Filmmaking’ Workshop which was instructed by The Documentary Filmmaking Group UK Director and filmmaker, Andy Glynne.  It was certainly a great experience to see, hear, feel and being inspired by such a passionate artist and clinical psychologist as Mr. Glynne.

During the last day of the workshop Jordan Times showed up and I was fortunate to see my words quoted  later on http://www.jordantimes.com/?news=24115

But 21-year-old filmmaker Hala Dasouqi believes that it is up to her peers to convince producers of their ideas, and not wait for production companies to approach them.
“The problem is not with the producers, it is with our way of presenting ideas… If we knew how to plan correctly, it would work,” she told The Jordan Times at the Film House last week.
“This is a transition phase… we’re on the road to professional filmmaking,” she said.

Targeting Jordanian Entrepreneurs

Just like any other trend that Jordan gets exposed to, some individuals come to light and use it for their own good... What I mean by "using" here is interacting with the trend -benefiting and adding to it- and of course I am not talking about "the knowledge" benefit in here.

People like me; with multi-talents and natural marketing skills find it amusing how trends makes it easier for us to practice our magic through media and minors' interests... still, I believe that moving on from your first incubator is a greater step than the basic first step -which is obviously being aware of those trends that impact our social, economic and political lives every now and then.

I personally watched myself developing and polishing my abilities during my very first experience that lasted for a year and half in Talasim, I saw both founders planning, raising and embracing their business into spotlight... They are the kind of partners that learn by observation and modeling, would rather spend their time getting to know how people could get their ideas formed in the actual world, than applying a theory that an American (non-Arab oriented) guys came up with for a better start-up business solution.

And now after I have actually saw how it happened right there, lived each moment of excitement, tasted the pleasure of participating in the experiment of being one of the talented human-variables that Talasim used and consumed in many ways, I am ready to present myself as a tool to hop one step ahead to a special, lunatic and impacting presence online, using my intelligence, talents and awareness that includes our society and it's structure..

From my modest experience in web, comedy, media and psychology; I am digging my way into the world of creating and pushing the most specialized companies to target masses.

Entrepreneurs of Jordan, keep your eyes widely open, Hala had just broke free...
