Rules in this world
The first step toward solving an issue is to speak about it, right? Then how about writing a song about it?
The inspiration came from Karamati an initiative that aims to bring together an online community in Jordan to openly share stories and advice that will help us all recognize and practically address sexual harassment in the workplace.
This is the action I've taken, I wrote the words, the melody and found just the right people to record it with. Walid Itayim and Munir Khauli two of my favorite rock and blues Lebanese musicians of all time.
Name of the song: Rules in this world
This is the story
Of a girl that was well raised
She's excellent at doing her work
But she has a snake at the office
A man with eyes that are hungry
This man is the head of the company
What difference would it make?
If the lust was in his eyes
If he touched her with his hands
Because she will quit and say next
I have another scenario
That completes the first verse
And it tells you exactly what to do
Tell him
I need to talk to you
Just for a couple of minutes
Our work is a priority I agree
But there are a couple of things annoying me
When you spoke like that
And drooled like that
And you looked at me like that
I'm not feeling comfortable sir!
This is my final message
If you faced such situations
You need to know that there are rules in this world
Give the song an ear and enjoy the enlightment

Music for Children in Jordan
Recently I got engaged in a couple of activities that concerned children entertainment. The first one is "The Small Press Initiative" sponsored by the Jordanian Education Ministry and Greater Amman Municipality in 22 March 2012. The other took place in Jordan University with children of S.O.S.
Here's Alghad news paper on the initiative: http://alghad.com/index.php/article/539308.html
I performed a group of cartoon songs and the feedback was great, therefore I am posting this home recorded song (Hazeem Al Ra3d) which was originally produced by Alzahra Center in Syria.
